On Saturday 8th September Victoria Cornwell and Adam Leatt took part in the North West Tough Mudder (Full) event at Cholmondeley Castle, in aid of Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The pair had successfully completed the course last year and were obviously not too put off to attempt it a second time. The 10 mile long course was packed with over 20 mud-filled obstacles, which were certainly not designed for the faint-hearted. Obstacles included ‘Arctic Enema’ (submerging yourself into an industrial sized dumpster filled with ice), ‘Birth Canal’ (crawling through a dark muddy tunnel with a heavy liner filled with water weighing you down) and the infamous ‘Electroshock Therapy’ (which does exactly what it says in the name; shocks you with 10,000 volts of electricity!) Of course, we couldn’t be prouder of our mudders for completing the course once again for the charity; well done guys!
Between the two of them they’ve managed to raise a fantastic £742 so far, taking our current accumulative total raised to £31,638! If you’d like to show your support and make a donation to one of our Trustland Just Giving pages, please follow the link found here.
