Planet

Trustland is committed to minimising its impact on the environment. We employ a full time Health, Safety and Environment Manager, Paul Martin. We only use FSC timber where possible and we track our wastage via our green skip contractors. We also invested in the establishment of dedicated sustainability business, Recipro, in 2013, to help the construction industry reduce surplus via reuse.

Community

As an organisation we are dedicated to the communities in which we work. This includes helping to raise funds for local charities and sports clubs, volunteering and supporting our employees in their charitable aims. In 2013 we invested in the dedicated sustainability business, Recipro; which passes on huge discounts to our local community and charities in need. See our news page for updates!

Health and Safety

Trustland is committed to excellence in every aspect of our projects and safety is certainly no exception. We are proud to say we employ a dedicated QHSE management team, who adopt a focussed, positive and pro-active approach to working with employees and clients. We also have an externally audited business management system accredited to OHSAS 18001:2007. (Health and safety) ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental.)

We currently employ a full time QHSE Manager (Paul Martin) to oversee the QHSE team; Paul is qualified with a degree and to CMIOSH standards. We also have a further three managers who possess professional health and safety qualifications. All site managers have a minimum of CITB SMSTS and all operatives, in addition to an extensive trade based training programme, hold CSCS cards.

The nature of our clients is extremely diverse and the environments we work in are also very varied, with experience ranging from shopping centres and tourist attractions, to nuclear sites and chemical laboratories. As a result we have a wealth of experience working in top tier COMAH sites and in occupied buildings with clients in and around our work areas.

We effectively monitor performance through regular site safety tours, which are undertaken by all management levels from directors down. Our accident statistics are amongst the best in the industry and we pride ourselves on the positive “pro-active” safety culture that we’ve developed over the years.

We are SafeContractor and Constructionline approved, giving our clients the peace of mind that our health and safety and compliance standards have been assessed and approved via third parties; with our management systems third party accredited by Alcumus ISOQAR.

Quality

Since the company was founded in 1972 we have kept our core focus on delivering work of the highest quality to our client, first time round. To ensure our standards never slip, we are ISO 9001:2015 accredited and have a quality management system in place which is reviewed for continual improvement. Our directors regularly establish quality objectives and monitor the achievement of them at the management review meetings, to ensure compliance via all staff and sub-contractors.
